1989
Fiatrans' story began back in 1989 with Federico Arbonés Ribes and Antònia Solà Pinar when, with a single vehicle of their own and four self-employed drivers, they began to transport goods in the Lleida area.
1994
A mere 5 years after setting up the business and as a result of the progressive growth in routes, fleet and equipment, the company moved to the Ciudad del Transporte in Lleida, acquiring a more modern space with greater capacity. That same year, Marcel Arbonés, Federico's son, became part of the company's management team. Over the next few years, the company would grow in terms of the number of customers, vehicles and transports.
2006
Then, in 2006, there was a change in management. Due to the loss of founding partner Federico Arbonés Ribes, his son, Federico Arbonés Aresté, who had until then worked for Fiatrans as a driver, joined the board of directors alongside his brother, Marcel Arbonés Aresté. The arrival of a new generation came with a more ambitious vision, and year after year the company's growth continued, with new routes opening throughout Spain and abroad, and continuous expansion of the fleet of vehicles.
2014
In 2014, Fiatrans was already a well-established company and thanks to its good growth rate, due to the demand for transport from its customers, the company moved to the Frares Industrial Estate, also in Lleida, purchasing an industrial building, where the offices and vehicle parking are currently located.
2019
This year, Fiatrans acquired a new space of 5,800 m² in the Frailes Industrial Estate in Lleida, with a view to building new facilities in the coming years that will allow it to make a qualitative leap forward and have more open, modern and practical areas: a spacious 300 m² administrative area, a modernised 1,200 m² logistics warehouse, a lorry parking area, a repair workshop and a vehicle washing area.
Growth
Effort and perseverance have been key to the growth of this transport company, which has always remained true to its family business origins; where proximity, trust, personalised service and customer service are the core values.
